Journey part 9 dc & pa
Enjoyed late August through September travelling from Kingsport, TN to DC, finally got there. First, I was able to visit with friends in Kingsport, TN. Then after a couple of days of fellowship and rest, drove across the Appalachian Mountains and into DC for a prayer conference. Also, I attended the War Room movie (divine providence) as the prayer conference finished. I have wanted to see the Lincoln Memorial and had that hankering satisfied at 3am on the morning I departed Washington DC for PA. It was a powerful time of intercession, connecting with friends and many new acquaintances.
Pennsylvania is near and dear to my heart for many reasons, especially the precious Garrett Family. They are all about Jesus, love and unity. Felt right at home with Mom Elaine. September was fulfilling in that a variety of capacities were required. I was blessed to be a student in attendance at a theological module on Discipleship hosted by Christian Call Bible Institute; minister in dance at a Philadelphia Revival; decorate a goldfish pond, solo dance “Alabaster Box” at Praise Fellowship Church; organize an office and in-home business; decorate in a home; help with hospitality for a Bishop from India and be treated like a family member to some of the most humble and loveable people I have ever been blessed to know and serve. Seriously, this reminded me of the beloved Derstines. It was a privilege! Thank you for all of the love and encouragement you gifted to me.
