journey part 8 Kentucky!
Campbellsville Kingdom Community & Lapp Families in Kentucky
August 8-24 was spent in the state of Kentucky among some of my favorite people in all the world. It all started with an invitation to Ignite America Prayer Gathering...Campbellsville Kingdom Community opened the arms of family and new friends to my life.
It was a mighty blessing to have a special visit by the Lapp family. They pulled into the community with their three new mobile homes and we had a special time of ministry. Steve taught us about living “above the line”. You might notice that the pics reflect what appear to be some new teaching techniques; but actually Steve and Jake were showing a brother how God stretches us, literally, and they prayed for God to use his newly discovered gifts.

August 5-7, I attended a White Horse Christian Center conference in West Lafayette Indiana. I met Amanda there. She is a talented young artist that was commissioned to paint a mural for a children's Sunday school room in a Methodist church. We became fast friends over the few days and spent some quality carpet time at the WHCC altar under the glory of God. It was a precious and powerful time of visions and growth.
Special signs, wonders and happenings included: two rainbows, a shooting star, birth of a calf, rat terrier puppy finds a home, eating home cooked Amish meals and the homespun smiles of a simpler life. Though they all work extremely hard around the farms, it is refreshing to join them for some rest and fellowship time.
Sign to me: as I closed the trunk of the car, I heard a cross between a bumblebee and a helicopter buzz dangerously close. As I whirled around to spot the "dive bomber", it was a gorgeous hummingbird. It hovered over a blossom on a rose of Sharon bush, extracting nectar from a fuchsia flower. I stood in awe as the hummingbird flew to another blossom and off against the blue Kentucky summer sky. What a parting gift from Holy Spirit that was! The LORD is so kind to give me little personal reminders that let me know I am on the right path on my journey!
