Journey Part 4 Fort Mill, SC
At 7am on Sunday, May 17, I left Atlanta, GA; and I headed to Fort Mill, SC, to attend Morning Star Fellowship Church. They had an 11am service and evening ladies’ meeting scheduled. As I walked into the facility I was overwhelmed by the high ceiling and fact that the church service actually took place in the atrium of their approximately 550 room hotel! The congregation sits at round tables to encourage conversations, group activities and fellowship. Holy Spirit told me to stay for a couple of weeks. Since I did not know anyone there, faith was required. A dear saint purchased 2 nights for me in the hotel. May Jesus repay her handsomely for her kindness. After that, I went through some serious challenges, but thanks to friends of friends… I stayed in a lovely home with some authentic Christians who were absolute jewels!!! Fort Mill, SC is bustling with Holy Spirit activity. I was privileged to attend Fresh Fire Church with Todd Bentley and his team; go to Kingdom Life Church with Dennis and Dr. Jenn Clark (powerful ministry!!!); Morning Star’s Partner weekend (volunteered to serve at two banquets of 500 each…wow! What a great experience!), and attend their Pastors and Leaders’ Summit (evening sessions were open to the public!).

Beyond that, I enjoyed $1 sliced pizza Tuesdays at Carmella’s; attended a worship meeting at Tim and Melody Brock’s home; attended a special birthday party, and made a ton of new friends!!! Some of the most delightful people I met were a British woman who taught classes on The Bride of Christ and a lovely couple and their daughter from South Africa!!! God is sooooo good.

On the goodness of God: years ago I heard Lance Wallnau on TBN discussing a word that God had spoken to me. He had such revelation! Little did I know that Holy Spirit would orchestrate him to be a keynote speaker at Morning Star’s Summit and speak Mon, Tues and Wed nights!!! It gets even better. On the Monday night Lance Wallnau asks if anyone in the crowd is a teacher and willing to take notes for him. I raised my hand and he actually called me up to stand on the platform with him, right there, to take notes! I was thanking Jesus!!! What a gift God gave to me, after I had admired this man’s teachings so many years ago, and now I was able be of assistance. Truly our God is holy!!! One of my new friends snapped some photos, and I will include at least one. The kindness of God still impresses me. The prophetic atmosphere at Morning Star inspired me to write a few new songs! Abba, Papa God gets His glory!!! Continuing my travels…
